During nine years at GitLab, I progressed from backend engineer to Senior and then Staff Engineer. I also led a development team as an Engineering Manager for one year.

I led the technical design and development of complex enterprise features, including Custom Roles for authorization, Portfolio Management, and integrations with Salesforce and Jira.

I contributed to integrating AI-powered capabilities into the GitLab product.

I mentored developers, participated in technical interviews, and helped establish quality standards. I also took part in on-call rotations and production incident response in a fully remote global environment.

I developed APIs and a responsive frontend for hotel analytics. I built and maintained integrations with major travel platforms for processing hotel reviews.

I developed new features for an anti-spam system and the Bluewin email service used by millions of users.

I built key APIs for the Numbrs banking application used by hundreds of thousands of users. I worked in PHP and Ruby on Rails.

I designed algorithms for transaction categorization and financial predictions. I also contributed to scalable architecture, high availability, and the security of sensitive financial data.

I developed backend features for SaaS applications in PHP and gained my first experience with long-term web product development.
